Dear CSI Community:
As many members of our CUNY community struggle with the aftermath of recent natural disasters (hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria and the earthquake in Mexico) and the effects on their families and friends, we want to make you aware of a number of ways you can support the relief effort.
The CSI Student Government, in conjunction with NYPIRG, Campus Activities Board (CAB) and the CSI Armed Forces Club, are collecting donations to assist the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Tower Foundation's Disaster Relief Efforts as well as those of the New York City Fire Department. Items being collected to donate include:
- Diapers
- Baby food
- Batteries
- First aid supplies
- Feminine hygiene products
Please drop your donations in Building 1C-207 (Student Government Office). Monetary donations are being collected in locked donation boxes located in the 1C- Cafeteria and the 1L-Cyber Café.
Please feel free to contact Student Government (718.982.3083) or the Office of Student Life (718.982.3088) with any questions or suggestions.
Use this to help you decide how, when, and where to help. Read through it, inform yourself, and help however you can.
Thank you.
