Veterans Support Services

CSI Welcomes all Veterans of the US Armed Forces.

We are proud to have you here and we thank you for your service!

CSI is dedicated to providing the support needed to help our servicemen and women adjust to college life. Our website is designed to inform service members, veterans, and eligible family members, about the benefits and resources available to them on and off campus. We have devised a network approach to better facilitate the needs of each student veteran from the Admissions process all the way through to graduation.

CSI's Veterans Support Services collaborates with veteran organizations within the community in order to identify additional resources and foster a sense of community between CSI student veterans and the veteran population of Staten Island. This relationship ensures that the Veterans Support Services stays up to date on all new legislation and initiatives that will affect our student veteran population. We want you to know that you have a strong system of advocacy available to you on and off campus.

Veterans Support Services is located in the Campus Center (Building 1C) Room 219.  Student veterans can also use the office as a hub to network and connect with each other.  Veterans Support Services has computers, printers, phone, fax and a library of educational and reference materials available to all CSI student veterans.  Please stop by and introduce yourself.  Your suggestions and comments are always welcome.  This is also a great way of connecting with your fellow veterans here on campus.

We look forward to meeting more of the 240 plus student veterans on campus and improving your college experience here at CSI!
