Welcome from the Provost

The Office of the Provost leads and sustains CSI’s academic mission by advancing curricular excellence, fostering faculty development, and enhancing student success. In partnership with the Associate Provost for Research and Faculty Success and the Assistant Provost for Student Success, we coordinate with the Deans of the College’s four schools and divisions, the Library, Registrar, Office of Institutional Research, and Center for Global Engagement.

We support key student success initiatives, including advising, tutoring, registrar operations, Macaulay Honors, Verrazzano Honors, ASAP, and ACE, while also providing robust faculty support via grant writing assistance, research funding, and pedagogical and professional development through the Center for Teaching and Professional Development. The Provost’s Office works side by side with faculty governance and campus leadership to ensure transparency, collaboration, and shared decision-making in shaping academic policy and direction.
