International Education Week (IEW) Film Screening of "On the Roof" (2017, Cuba, 1 hr 15 mins)

International Education Week (IEW) will be held November 18 through 22, 2024 this year. We will be offering two film screenings during Club hours (Tuesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 21 (2:30pm-3:30pm).

On The Roof (2017, 1 hr. 15 min), a film by Cuban director Patricia Ramos Hernández, will be shown on Thursday November 21, 2024 from 2:30pm-3:30pm. The film is about three young Cubans who are crowded in a decaying neighbourhood of Havana who imagine prosperous futures for themselves as they struggle to meet the demands of everyday life.

Both films will be shown in the Library Theatre (1L-103).
