Sandra L. Hunt

Assistant Professor

Dr. Hunt is a licensed psychologist in the state of New York, and has been trained in both Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology.  She has several years of experience performing individual and group psychotherapy, and has conducted pediatric and adult evaluations for medical and rehabilitation facilities, attorneys, schools, and corporations.  Dr. Hunt is a member of the American Psychological Association, the International Neuropsychological Society, the New York Academy of Traumatic Brain Injury, and the New York Neuropsychology Group.

Scholarship and Publications

Dr. Hunt’s research interests and publications are in the area of worry, cognition, and coping in the elderly, as well as the development and analysis of instruments to measure worry and coping in this population.  More recently, she has begun working on research related to the assessment of symptom exaggeration and malingering in forensic neuropsychological evaluations.
