SIBCRI LogoStaten Island has the highest breast cancer incidence and mortality among the five boroughs of New York City. To address the concerns of Staten Islanders, we at the College of Staten Island's Center for Environmental Science have initiated the Staten Island Breast Cancer Research Initiative (SIBCRI).

Through our multidisciplinary approach aimed at making a positive impact on breast cancer, we can help all individuals concerned with the effects of the environment on their health. SIBCRI research conducted will impact the Staten Island community through both educational programs and implementation of precautionary measures.
