St. John’s University announced in August 2022 the phased closure of its Staten Island campus. As a member of the Staten Island community, we are saddened to hear that one of our fellow education institutions will be closing its doors. The loss of the St. John’s Staten Island facility will leave a noticeable gap in the higher education landscape on the Island.
As a result, St. John’s Staten Island will begin the process of concluding academic operations and not be admitting a first-year class in the Fall 2023. In an effort to support students who wish to continue their education near their homes on Staten Island, the College of Staten Island/CUNY is able to accommodate students who would like to enroll at CSI. With a 204-acre campus--the largest single site for a New York City college, an exceptional faculty, abundant research opportunities, and vibrant student life, which provides a variety of services and programs, including coordination of student leadership programs and civic engagement initiatives, we believe that we can support your needs, providing you with a rich college experience, right in your own back yard.
Please complete our St. John’s University (Staten Island) Student Assistance Form and a representative will assist you with admission.
