Academics
You will take honors courses that fulfill major and general education requirements.
These classes are usually smaller, and you are surrounded by bright, motivated students.
You get to register before everyone else, so you should always get the classes you want, at the times you want.
You will have easy access to personalized advising to make sure you are on track.
You will complete an honors capstone, supervised by a faculty mentor.
This works. Our students graduate on time (often early) and our students are always finalists for valedictorian and salutatorian, and routinely win.
Beyond the Classroom
So much learning happens outside the classroom.
You will form a community among your peers, and hang out in the Verrazzano lounge.
You will attend extracurricular activities called VELAs to explore your major, your college, and your city.
We offer study abroad scholarships so you can travel and grows.
You will give back to your community through volunteering.
You will join, create, and lead clubs.
Preparing for your career
College is the real world, and you will use it to prepare for whatever your career trajectory may be.
You will complete a professional communication workshop.
You will upgrade your resume with access to peer and professional reviewers.
You will received personalized advisement and encouragement to explore career paths.
We send regular job/internship/opportunity announcements to you.
Our students go on to grad school/professional school, gainful employment!
