Dreamer's Academy

Dreamer’s Academy is interactive hands on skills enhancement program that is designed to help junior high school as well as high school students develop the skills necessary in order to fulfill their New York State standardized testing requirements. The program consists of a five-week unit during the summer. The classes are taught by certified teachers and college professors that have experience with teaching students at the junior high, high school and collegiate level with a particular emphasis placed on developing the following skills: study skills, observation and measurement techniques, writing skills, critical thinking and analysis, leadership, and teamwork. To enhance the student’s experience, Dreamer’s Academy is held on the campus at the College of Staten Island. The collegiate environment serves as an ideal setting that is both engaging and effective as our Dreamers begin to take the necessary steps to become future leaders.
