Adopt a Bench Campaign

Bench

The Adopt a Bench Campaign is a visible and innovative way to support CSI. Picture your bench in a place on campus that bears special meaning or memories for you.

Reserve your special place at CSI by donating a bench to beautify our 204-acre campus. You can give a meaningful gift to honor or remember a loved one, a mentor, a milestone, your family, a friend, a beloved professor, your business, a birth, a wedding, or any special occasion. A personalized plaque will be placed on your bench to enhance the open green spaces on our campus, in recognition of your generosity.

For more than 60 years, CSI has established itself as the oldest and largest institution of public higher education on Staten Island. Proceeds from the Adopt a Bench Campaign will benefit the Annual Fund to help support the College’s greatest needs, including technology, classroom and library upgrades, and resources to support student-faculty research projects.

Solar Power doks ADOPT A SOLAR POWER-DOK

There is also a unique opportunity to support the College with a donation of a Solar Power-Dok, a solar-powered charging station and Wi-Fi hotspot designed to provide self-sustaining GREEN energy wherever it is placed outdoors with access to direct sunlight. Not only is this mobile device charging oasis powered by the sun, it is also made from recycled materials to be an eco-friendly masterpiece.

Reserve a unique solar-powered high-tech gathering place that isn’t your everyday outdoor table. The umbrella solar panels collect energy that can be used to plug in and charge laptops, mobile phones, and provide nighttime lighting. Six umbrella awnings can be personalized with your dedication or business name and logo. It’s a great way to advertise and show your support!

The dedication event, held on a beautiful June evening, celebrated the generosity and devotion of our inaugural Adopt a Bench Campaign donors. Take a look at the festivities!
