Professor Meyer is the new Director of Field Education for the Bachelors of Social Work Program as well as a Lecturer in the Program. She has a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary with a concentration in Legal Studies from The State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Masters Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Macro Studies from Boston University. Professor Meyer has worked in the past with substance abusers in the criminal justice field and more recently in child welfare, specifically focusing on older children in the foster care system in New York City.
