Partnership With NYC Public Schools Provides “Welcome to CUNY” Letters and Application Fee Waivers to High School Seniors 

The College of Staten Island’s athletic department honored over four decades of the school’s cross country program with a ceremony of recognition.

The College of Staten Island is proud to be named as a Fulbright HSI (Hispanic-Serving Institution) Leader for 2024. Each year, the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) recognizes select HSIs for their strong engagement with the Fulbright Program, the U.S. government’s flagship international academic exchange program.

For the fourth consecutive year, the College of Staten Island has been cited by The Princeton Review as one of the nation’s Top Green Colleges

Stanford University/Elsevier’s list of “World’s Top 2%” scientists has been released, and five esteemed College of Staten Island faculty are recognized.

Intelligent.com, a widely recognized source for higher education rankings and research, has included the College of Staten Island in its annual assessment, recognizing it as one of the Best Master’s in Special Education Degree Programs for 2025, ranking No. 19 nationally.

U.S. News and World Report has released its 2025 list of the Top Undergraduate Schools and the College of Staten Island has once again seen its name on the list in a host of categories, including as a significant riser in Social Mobility.
