The Office of Institutional Research (OIR)

The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) serves the College of Staten Island community including, College leadership, staff, faculty, and students. While maintaining data integrity and protecting the confidentiality and privacy of individuals, OIR engages in the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data required for the assessment of institutional effectiveness, data-informed decision making, and planning.

In addition, OIR serves other audiences through its external reporting functions. Among these are the central offices of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, federal and state government agencies, accrediting bodies (e.g., Middle States), the wider higher education community, and the general public. The OIR reports to the Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness within the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost.
